Course Overview
The course gives you Six solid days of interview training with Dr. Chaoukat Alsakati, a top graduate of the University of Toronto’s Doctor of Dental Surgery. You will also receive an updated course manual designed specifically for this interview process, which includes sample questions and answers.
This course is designed for individuals who are now in the process of securing admission to the University of Alberta. We provide a comprehensive guide for preparation, focusing on delivering university-specific insights, in-depth discussions on critical competencies required, and strategies to enhance interview skills. The course includes Two full mocks (exercises with role-playing scenarios) spanning three days each:
Additionally, the course offers 20+ hours of preparatory discussions and lectures, including:
6 hours on treatment planning, patient management, clinical judgment, and analysis –
- Covering topics such as Periodontics, Endodontics, Pharmacology, Medical Management, Emergency Care, and Pediatrics
6 hours on radiographic interpretation and training, addressing radiology, normal anatomy, pathology, and abnormalities
6 hours of interview preparation and role-playing, led by our experienced instructors
Participants will also have access to the radiographic lecture until the exam date.
Our Two-week course is designed to provide the context and case-based knowledge to present the best version of yourself. You will leave with strategies for approaching the build-up to the process, for conducting yourself during interviews, and, most importantly, the knowledge that has helped many of our previous candidates secure admission successfully.
